Reset Room Manager / Pastoral Assistant
Waverley School, a multi‑academy trust located in Birmingham, is seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to join our team as Reset Room Manager. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore fluent spoken English is an essential requirement.
Salary & Working Hours
Grade 3 £26,409 to £32,654 per annum, 36.5 hours per week (term time only). Approximate actual salary – £23,191.

Responsibilities
* Manage and lead the reset room provision within the Secondary phase, providing students with high‑quality and personalised support.
* Deliver support in line with the school’s expectations for behaviour and conduct.
* Forge strong working relationships with staff, students and external partners.
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, risk‑management and wellbeing policies.
* Collaborate with the past‑oral team to identify and respond to the needs of pupils.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil support and progress.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and the wellbeing of children.
* Experience of working with pupils with a range of needs or in a support provision.
* Enhanced DBS check and person specification in line with the role specification.
