Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, mentor, and develop the imports & cargo customs team.
2. Process customs clearance entries (CDS) for courier/cargo shipments at LHR, MAN, EDI & GLA.
3. Oversee job creation, billing, and compliance processes within Boxtop and Customs Central (Sequoia).
4. Maintain full compliance with HMRC customs clearance procedures.
5. Stay ahead of changes in customs legislation and ensure the team is informed.
6. Manage HS code classification, valuation, and origin declarations.
7. Oversee low-value (BIRDS) and high-value clearances.
8. Reconcile Deferment and FAS accounts monthly.
