A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant at David Bromley House, Knowle, to work on our friendly in-patient complex care unit for patients experiencing mental health issues.
We are seeking a personable, flexible, and motivated Healthcare Assistant with excellent communication and team-working skills to support our qualified staff in delivering patient-centred care and enhancing patient experience.
You will initially be based at David Bromley House in Knowle, Solihull. The unit has 15 beds for patients with severe and enduring mental health problems and physical health issues requiring slow-stream rehabilitation. Patients often need assistance with personal care and engaging in therapeutic activities.
As part of the team, you will perform a range of practical tasks with patients, often on a 1-to-1 basis, under the supervision of qualified staff.
You will deliver clinical care to service users and support the work of the nursing and medical team. Relevant experience in mental health care with minimal additional training is preferred.
This is a full-time position; please note that you will be required to work days, nights, and unsociable hours.
