Optical Assistant – Full Time | Independent | Ruislip | Up to 30,000 DOE | Full-Time | 5 Days per Week | Saturdays Essential | Sundays & Bank Holidays Off
Are you looking to join a stylish, independent opticians where exceptional service, premium products, and patient care come first? My client, a boutique independent practice in the heart of Ruislip High Street, is looking for a smart, well-spoken, and experienced Optical Assistant to join our welcoming team. We’re known for our curated designer eyewear, personalised service, and relaxed, professional environment.
The Role
* Full-time, 5 days per week, including every Saturday
* Hours: 9:00am – 5:45pm with a 1-hour lunch
* Closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays
* 2 testing room practice with a focus on quality over quantity
* No pre-screening – our optometrists take care of the full clinical process
* Use of Eye Clarity system for smooth patient flow and record-keeping
* Assist with all areas of the patient journey, including admin, filing, and frame styling

What We’re Looking For
* Optical experience required
* Comfortable working Saturdays
* Well-presented and confident with excellent communication skills
* Calm and composed when handling even the most challenging customer interactions
* Passionate about optics and customer service, with a strong team ethic
