Pay: £129-£199 per day (DOE/PAYE/Umbrella)
Hours: Monday-Friday, full school day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Reeson Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to take a Year 5 class in a Portsmouth primary school. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Primary Teacher who wants to inspire, support, and lead learning across the curriculum.
As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' academic and social development, and work closely with staff to create a positive classroom environment. The successful Primary Teacher will manage behaviour effectively, adapt to individual needs, and provide a safe, stimulating learning space.
Primary Teacher - Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons as a Primary Teacher for Year 5
Plan, prepare, and adapt learning activities as a Primary Teacher
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning
Work collaboratively with staff as a Primary Teacher
Maintain safeguarding and school policies at all times
Provide feedback on pupil progress as a Primary Teacher
Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Actively contribute to school initiatives as a Primary Teacher
Inspire pupils and maintain high expectations as a Primary TeacherPrimary Teacher - Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in UK primary schools as a Primary Teacher
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to teach across all Year 5 subjects as a Primary Teacher
Confident, reliable, and flexible approach to teaching
