Position Details:
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Salary: GBP20,000:GBP23,000 per annum depending on experience
* Full:time, Monday:Friday (08:30am : 4:15pm)
* Located in Cranleigh, Surrey

Responsibilities:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting teachers with personalised learning activities
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Helping students develop communication, independence and life skills
* Supporting community:based learning activities and work:related experiences
* Assisting with personal care where required
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families
Requirements:
* A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Must have UK based experience
* Must have 3:12 months experience in SEN, Education or childcare or have transferable skills and experience from a similar career e.g social care or care
* Must not have any criminal convictions or reprimands
* Ability to support students with complex communication and behavioural needs
* Must have right to work in the UK or valid visa
