£14.02 per hour (first 6 months)
£14.27 per hour (after 6 months)

Working Hours
* 39 hours per week (day shift):
* Monday-Tuesday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
* Wednesday-Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing distribution business, is seeking a Quality Improvement Technician to join their team at a busy warehouse operation in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality to play a key role in maintaining standards, improving processes, and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct quality inspections, including goods-in checks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Record, analyse, and report inspection outcomes to management
* Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventative actions
* Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and maintain accurate records
* Carry out Random Quality Checks (RQC's) across products
* Support internal audits, calibration activities, and document control
* Ensure quality documentation is up to date and compliant with company procedures
* Process product returns using internal systems
* Assist in preparation for external audits and support training where required
* Develop and maintain strong product knowledge
* Promote a "Right First-Time" culture across the warehouse

About You
* Previous experience in a quality, warehouse, or distribution environment is desirable
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
* Confident in handling documentation and following structured processes
