Job Description
Attention all qualified Accountants.My client, a leading Not for Profit organisation based in Cardiff are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team on a Permanent basis.Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, the Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in the team.Duties will include, but not limited to;
3. Prepare and post monthly journals
4. Prepare Cost and Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Produce insightful month end financial reports to support decision-making processes including variance analysis.
6. Develop financial plans, budgets and run rates for business areas.
7. Deliver detailed cost analysis to deliver operational efficiency.
8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborate with internal departments to enhance financial processes.
10. Provide support for audits and ensure accurate financial documentation.
11. Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
12. Deliver clear financial advice to stakeholders within the organisation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
13. A recognised accounting qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA.
14. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Proficiency in financial software and tools.
17. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
