Residential Childcare Workers

£12.21 - £20.88 per hour depending on shift pattern and location.
We are currently looking to recruit Residential Childcare Workers to work within a range of residential settings across Teesside.
Within this role you will be supporting a range of young people that may have learning difficulties, autism and / or emotional behavioural disorders and mental health issues. The younger persons you are supporting may also present different aspects of challenging behaviour and complex health needs.
The ideal candidate will possess :
* Previous experience of working within residential childcare settings.
* Effective communications in relation to report writing and verbal communication with staff.
* Awareness of non-verbal communication.
* A professional and caring nature.
* The ability to engage with young people in a positive and proactive manner.
* A level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Children and Young People is desirable but not essential to the role.
