Argyles Care Home, Pound Street, Newbury, RG14 6AE. CQC rating: Good. Salary: £12.25 - £13.25 per hour (depending on experience).
Argyles has an experienced team of registered nurses and carers who provide nursing, residential, convalescence, respite, palliative and Parkinson's care. This well-equipped Tudor-style house provides a comfortable and relaxing environment. Residents can socialise in the main lounge or relax in the quiet lounge as they choose, while the spacious gardens and patio can be enjoyed in warmer weather. Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities and can be personalised to suit individual tastes. Themed monthly events are part of the varied activities calendar, which includes visits from local performers, pampering sessions and excursions.

What you’ll help us do
* Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
* Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
* Providing advice and support both face to face and over the phone
* Conducting show-arounds within the care home
* Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paperwork and filing
* Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed
Key Skills / Qualifications
You’ve worked as a Receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service. You’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable and organised and have the ability to build strong relationships with our residents, their families and internal teams. Dedicated and efficient with an ability to handle a varied workload, but importantly, your caring attitude underpins everything you do - to make a real difference to people’s lives.
