Purpose of the job
Based at Nuvia’s Warrington Office, the Business Development Manager role is to assist in identifying, pursing, and winning new business opportunities and partnerships to drive company growth and revenue.

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will prospect through market research, industry events, social media, prospect contact and networking. Benefitting from the expertise and mentoring of the wider Business Development team they will take opportunities to closed/won.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a lead database use of existing company CRM systems
- Reach out to potential clients and partners via email, phone calls, meetings, and networking events.
- Introduce the company's products or services and gather information to assess potential interest.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and industry contacts.
- Attend networking events and conferences to expand the professional network.
- Assist in the development of sales pitches, presentations, and proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create customised solutions for potential clients.
- Prepare regular reports on lead generation and business development activities.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and sales, to support the Business Development team to win bids and tenders
Occupational Skills and Training
What previous experience or qualifications would the individual need
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- A basic understanding of radiation protection instruments would be an advantage
- Strong interest in business development and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of business and sales processes.
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) software ideally.
- Willingness to travel or attend industry events when necessary.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
