About Shoreham Port

Shoreham Port is a unique and diverse working environment spanning over 110 acres of land, that encompasses operational space, marinas, and a property estate of over 250 commercial spaces ranging from beach huts, offices and workshop to spaces for large commercial shipping tenants. As well as beach front and green spaces in between.


Key Tasks:

* Property portfolio management of key accounts across the estate.
* Assist the Commercial & Property team in the management of the wider estate.
* Build relationships with tenants, contractors and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
* Manage the lettings process from the initial marketing through to completion.
* Monitor and assist with rent reviews, lease renewals and licence terms.
* Lead regular inspections of the property estate, and report and resolve findings.
* Partner with the Finance team to ensure accurate billing.
* Ensure property management systems are updated with accurate records for all properties.
* Contribute to strategic property projects, new revenue streams, and support the wider commercial activities of the Port.


Key Skills:

* Previous experience in property management is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
* Knowledge of MRI Qube property management software would be favourable.
* Strong administrative skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Computer literate, with ability to use Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accurate data entry and record keeping.
* Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast paced environment.
* Full UK Driving licence.


How we value you:

* Hours: Monday – Friday, 0800-1700 with one hour lunch break (40 hours/week). Job-share or part-time applications welcome.
* Work location: Shoreham Port, with site visits Port-wide (BN41 – BN43).
* Option to remote work once a week (pending successful completion of probation).
* Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 pa (experience and hours of work dependent).

Please Note: Applicants should be aware the Port operates under its impairment policy, which includes a zero-tolerance for drugs and alcohol, with a random programme of testing operated throughout.
