Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating students on swimming techniques, water safety, and fostering a love for the water.
Duties
1. To teach children of varying age and ability as per the Swim England's Learn to Swim
framework, completing all necessary administration according to their swim progress.
1. To deliver excellent customer service maximising the retention of swimming lessons participants
through quality standards, motivation and customer care.
1. To assist with the growth and development of our swimming programme.
2. To comply with Health and Safety procedures and support the Management Team where needed
Skills
* Strong ability to educate individuals in swimming techniques and water safety.
* Experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with diverse age groups.
* Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student records effectively.
* A passion for swimming and promoting an active lifestyle among participants.
