HR Advisor
Location: Leicester (On-site only)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, no hybrid working
Macildowie is proud to be working in partnership with a valued client based in Leicester, who are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being hands-on with all aspects of advisory work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a range of employee relations matters.
* Support and lead on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management cases.
* Work closely with line managers to coach and support best HR practice and compliance with employment legislation.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Support change initiatives including restructures and consultations.
* Contribute to HR project work and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate HR records and ensure systems are up to date.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar advisory role.
* Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
* Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to manage a busy and varied workload.
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) would be advantageous.
* This role is 100% office-based in Leicester and would suit someone who is keen to be fully immersed in the day-to-day HR operations of a busy team.
