We're currently recruiting a dedicated Kitchen Porter/Storeperson to help ensure the smooth running of operations at CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. Here's what you need to know before applying: Your key responsibilities will include: Carry out daily Kitchen porter duty with wash up and cleaning duties Assisting in keeping the lobby and other public areas clean and tidy Helping restaurant and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture Responding to customer requests where required Running errands Ensuring the safety of customers by, for instance, placing and removing signage that indicates wet floors Receive and check incoming goods Unpack and store goods in appropriate areas Maintain and update inventory records Review and validate invoices against goods received and services rendered, ensuring accuracy before processing Record due diligence of goods received Check for damaged goods or missing items Maintain and record cleanliness and all Health & Safety compliance of all goods areas Contact suppliers and resolve any invoice or missing items Stock management Ability to operate and clean heavy duty equipment Knowledgeable in procurement, delivery management and purchasing platforms Our ideal candidate will: Be adaptable and easily embrace changing priorities Be a brilliant communicator and easily build relationships Have experience delivering high quality customer care Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers Possess the ability to work under pressure Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability Job Reference: com/3107/47514001/52753583/BU LI-DNP Chartwells CH&CO, a part of Compass Group UK&I, is committed to fostering an environment where every individual can truly be themselves at work and has equal opportunities to advance in their careers.
