We are currently recruiting for a full-time Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the CF14 area of Cardiff. This role will begin after the Easter break and will be working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Role
You will be supporting the class teacher within an EYFS setting, helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where young learners can thrive. The role will involve working closely with pupils to support their early development, learning through play, and building key foundational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting teaching and learning within an EYFS classroom
Delivering support through the Welsh language
Assisting with play-based learning activities
Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development
Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff
Requirements
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience working within EYFS (school or nursery setting)
Passion for supporting young learners
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant childcare/education qualification (desirable but not essential)
