Are you passionate about creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for vulnerable individuals? We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Mayflower Court, a specialist dementia care home.
About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care home. Your attention to detail and compassionate approach will help create a comfortable setting for our residents.
Responsibilities
1. Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, communal areas, and facilities
2. Ensuring laundry services are efficient and meet infection control standards
3. Supporting a homely environment that respects residents’ dignity and independence
4. Following health and safety regulations and infection control procedures
5. Working collaboratively with care staff to enhance the well-being of residents
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
6. Has experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
7. Works well in a team and has strong communication skills
8. Is understanding and respectful towards individuals with dementia
9. Is proactive, reliable, and has great attention to detail

Mayflower Court in Southampton is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 72 residents.
