Lecturer - Foundation Learning
UCS College Group invites applications for the Lecturer role within Foundation Learning, a department that won the RCU Beacon Award for Support for Students in 2023/24. The department offers highly successful study programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
The post-holder will be motivated, enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners. They will deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment throughout a timetable within Foundation Learning.
Responsibilities
* Maximise learners’ potential to progress towards their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and/or personalised outcomes.
* Develop and deliver inclusive, high‑quality lessons and individualised teaching, learning and assessment approaches.
* Promote inclusive practice and support learners with SEND/SEMH.
* Collaborate with the Foundation Learning team to enhance program delivery.

* Experience working with learners with SEND/SEMH.
* Specialist area of expertise that benefits the department.
