SEN Teacher
Salary: M1 to M6 depending on skills and experience (£32,916 to £45,352 per annum for September starters)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, term time only)

We are seeking a compassionate, creative and committed SEN Teacher to join our team and deliver a truly personalised learning experience for young people. About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will work with learners aged 7 to 19 in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. You will deliver an engaging, flexible curriculum primarily to Key Stage 3 learners, working closely with Site Lead Teachers to design innovative, multi-sensory learning experiences tailored to each learner’s needs, interests and goals.
Key subjects include Maths, English, PSHE, Cooking and Preparation for Adulthood (PFA).
Your teaching will focus on building confidence, improving engagement, and supporting academic, social and emotional progress—while ensuring safety, wellbeing and inclusion remain central to your practice.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver and review personalised learning programmes, including lesson plans and schemes of work
Use creative and varied approaches to engage learners with diverse needs
Advocate for young people and involve them in decisions about their learning
Support Learning Managers with learner profiles, SEN information, assessments and progress tracking
Contribute to curriculum development and subject improvement plans
Maintain accurate records and report to commissioning bodies (e.g. EHCPs, transition planning)
Engage in continuous professional development and stay up to date with best practice in SEN education

Skills and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in SEN teaching (preferred)
A relevant Level 6 qualification
