About You
The successful candidate will be able to teach geography across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 at Cape Cornwall School. Many subjects are overseen and delivered by a single teacher, giving the postholder a real sense of ownership of the subject and its profile within the school. Geography is a popular subject at GCSE level, with outcomes in line with the national picture. The role also involves working within the Trust geography network, allowing for curriculum alignment and shared pedagogical approaches. The most important attribute is the ability to bring the subject to life for students in local, regional, national and global contexts.
Responsibilities

* Own subjects and contribute to curriculum planning and delivery.

* Apply contemporary teaching methods to engage students and bring the subject to life.
