ABOUT NEW WALK CIC
New Walk CIC are a not-for-profit Registered Provider of Social Housing. We are a rapidly growing organisation focused on delivering housing, support and first-rate services to those who need it most. We work with some of the most marginalised groups within our communities and our working days are often fast-paced, challenging and to the right person, immensely rewarding.
As a team, we strive to create a culture where we are encouraged to develop and the emphasis is very much on supporting each other. We place value on the quality of the person over the qualifications they have on paper. However, we believe passionately in providing training opportunities for our team to achieve their work and life goals both as an individual as well as contributing to an inclusive and successful team.
Being passionate about where and how you work is so important but it is also vital to remember we are all individuals with full lives outside of the workplace. We recognise the importance of a good work-life balance and strive to promote this through flexible working opportunities, providing access to paid-for private counselling, offering benefits around birthdays and promoting team building through away days and friendly competition.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies, such as social services, mental health teams, and charities, to coordinate support for tenants.
Crisis Intervention:
* Respond to crises, such as potential homelessness, anti-social behaviour, or domestic violence, providing immediate support and working to find long-term solutions.
* Work with tenants at risk of eviction, offering mediation and support to resolve issues and prevent homelessness.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant interactions, support provided, and outcomes achieved.
* Prepare reports and updates for management on case progress, risks, and any significant issues.
Community Engagement:
* Facilitate tenant engagement in community activities and initiatives to promote social inclusion and community cohesion.
* Organise and deliver workshops or training sessions on topics such as budgeting, tenancy management, and accessing local services.
