Financial Analyst - Global Finance

The Role
As Financial Analyst, you will support the Global Finance Manager in managing financial planning and operational performance across a large international programme. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, improving reporting processes, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making.
This position involves working with stakeholders across multiple regions, providing visibility into financial performance while ensuring strong governance and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
1. Support the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
2. Monitor financial performance and provide analysis against targets
3. Conduct cost analysis, profitability reviews, and regional performance assessments
4. Build financial models to support business cases and scenario planning
5. Identify financial risks and opportunities through data analysis and trend monitoring
Financial Operations
6. Manage end-to-end invoice processing across global operational teams
7. Ensure financial controls and audit standards are maintained
8. Review and reconcile expense reporting and financial documentation
9. Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
10. Prepare clear financial reports and performance insights for leadership
11. Partner with global teams to improve forecast accuracy and financial transparency
12. Communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders
Process Improvement
13. Identify opportunities to improve budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing processes
14. Help develop internal reporting frameworks and KPIs
15. Document processes to ensure consistency and business continuity
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
16. Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
17. Strong Excel skills and advanced data analysis capability
18. Experience working with financial systems or reporting tools
19. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
20. Ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights clearly
21. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
22. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
23. Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools
24. Experience supporting international or multi-site operations
