This unique Montessori nursery is renowned for its holistic approach to early years education, combining a child-led learning philosophy with a focus on wellbeing, creativity, and exploration. Children benefit from organic, nutritious meals and a variety of additional activities, including football and rugby, designed to support both physical development and teamwork skills. The nursery's thoughtfully designed spaces, indoor and outdoor, inspire curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We welcome applications from qualified practitioners (Level 2 or Level 3) as well as unqualified candidates with relevant childcare experience and a passion for Montessori education. Flexible working arrangements, including full-time, part-time, or bespoke schedules, are available.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's development and wellbeing while contributing to a warm, engaging, and inspiring Montessori environment. You will help children feel secure, confident, and excited to explore, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Support child-led, play-based learning experiences both indoors and outdoors
* Promote children's emotional, social, and physical development
* Contribute to observations, learning journeys, and progress reports
* Build strong, trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and families
* Collaborate with parents to meet each child's individual needs
* Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain the highest standards of care
What We're Looking For
* Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or relevant childcare experience (unqualified candidates considered)
* A warm, caring, and patient approach
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and wellbeing
* Basic understanding of EYFS and safeguarding, or willingness to learn
