An opportunity has arisen for a qualified HGV Technician to join our friendly and dynamic team at G Webb Haulage Limited in Longstanton, Cambridgeshire. The ideal HGV Technician: You will ensure the most efficient and highest possible standard of mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of customer vehicles and related ancillary equipment Work as part of a team to maintain and build employee and customer relations to ensure the workshop operation achieves its objectives and targets Undertake comprehensive and preventative maintenance and repair standards Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with terms Undertake diagnostic analysis where appropriate HGV Technician desirable traits: Experience within a commercial dealer environment working on HGVs City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 is essential Have practical understanding of using information technology and systems to deliver objectives Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach towards meeting the needs of the customer Demonstrates commercial awareness and has a good understanding and experience of a busy workshop operating environment Benefits of the HGV Technician Role: Free Parking on site Company Pension Scheme Salary for the HGV Technician: £55-60k pa Schedule: Monday to Friday Saturday mornings per rota Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
