Location: Watford
Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday-Friday
Salary: £27,082 per annum, with benefits including Health Cash Plan (this role is live-in and includes a rent-free property onsite)
Overview
This is a great opportunity to join our leasehold retirement team as a live-in Scheme Manager. If you want to make a difference by supporting people to live independently and enjoy their retirement, join us. You will ensure the smooth operation of our retirement community by managing the buildings and supporting residents in their independence.
Responsibilities
* Manage the scheme, ensuring safety, security, and compliance with safety standards.
* Engage with residents, respond to calls, and maintain a welcoming environment.
* Ensure communal areas are clean, safe, and inviting, facilitating social activities.
* Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and source local suppliers.
* Signpost residents to relevant services to support their welfare.
* Assist the sales team with new property availability, interviewing potential residents, and welcoming new residents.
Candidate Requirements
* Passion for excellent customer service and building relationships with diverse residents.
* Knowledge of health and social issues affecting older adults.
* Experience with safeguarding and risk assessments.
* Ability to work collaboratively with partners.
* Strong administrative skills, including managing accounts, budgets, and invoicing.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently, making effective decisions.
Additional Information

Job Details
* Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional evening work to support residents. Flexibility to shape your schedule.
* Proficiency with technology for record-keeping, online learning, and collaboration.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required; we will cover the cost.
