Finance Analyst
Location: Chertsey
Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000
Our client, operating in the dynamic field of cloud and digital logistics services, is searching for a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join their forward-thinking company. This pivotal role will significantly contribute to their ongoing projects by ensuring precision and innovation in financial management.
Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for project portfolios.
Coordinate key month-end and year-end close activities, aligning with strict accounting standards.
Monitor project financial performance, including tracking revenue, costs, margins, and cash flow analyses.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation in financial reporting.
Act as a finance business partner to provide crucial financial insights to project and operational teams.
Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting within a project-based environment.
Solid understanding of project accounting, financial controls, and principles of revenue and cost recognition.
Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
