What you will be doing
As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure people with mental health conditions receive high-quality care, support your colleagues, and promote positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, offering routine and variety. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
* Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care
* Mentoring and supporting team members
* Observing, recording, and reporting service user changes, maintaining accurate records
Skills and knowledge you will have:

Where you will be working:
Location: Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET.
Thornford Park is a 130-bed independent hospital supporting service users requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services, including a PICU Mental Health Service.
The service provides seamless care pathways supporting recovery and rehabilitation. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver personalized assessment and treatment for males with mental illness and complex needs, as well as personality disorders, and females and males in a PICU setting.
