Design Technology Teacher (Food Technology)

Contract: Full Time, ASAP Start
Salary: MPS/UPS – Paid to Scale
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Design Technology Teacher specialising in Food Technology to join a welcoming secondary school in York. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, and the successful candidate will be paid in line with their placement on the Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale.

About the Role as a Food Technology Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 within the Design Technology faculty.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons that inspire students and ensure progress.
* Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school.
* Work as part of a dedicated and supportive team within the DT department.
Food Technology Teacher Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Specialism in Food Technology with the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
* Strong classroom management skills and a passion for raising achievement.
* Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
