Overview
A growing close knit and small accountancy practice based in Wellington is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The role involves preparing and reviewing year end accounts, tax compliance across personal and corporate tax, and overseeing VAT, bookkeeping and wider accountancy duties as key right hand support to the firms directors. An opportunity for increasing client management responsibility and career progression is on offer.
Responsibilities
Based from the firms Wellington offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversight of wider services. You will act for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges, with increasing client management responsibility and opportunities to progress within the practice.
Software used includes IRIS for accounts production, with encouragement to use SAGE (desktop and cloud). Clients also use Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and other online software.
Profile
You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA/ACCA etc, or have developed your career through experience to date in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery. You will have a background working with wide-ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients in a practice environment and be looking for a challenging Senior Accountant opportunity.
Job Offer
