A bit about what you will do...
Restaurant Managers within our luxury hotel oversee restaurant operations for the outlet, ensuring the team delivers warm, welcoming and exceptional service that consistently exceeds guests’ expectations.
* Lead by example and foster team dynamics to ensure the team remains focused on meeting guests’ needs and brand standards.
* Monitor the performance of the restaurant through analysis of guest feedback and financial results, initiating corrective action as needed.
* Manage the departmental budget to reduce costs and maximise profitability.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
* Communicate and enforce policies and procedures regarding pouring measures and age verification.
* Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain guests.
* Conduct daily briefings with the restaurant team and attend Food and Beverage meetings with the leadership team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
* Manage staffing levels according to business demands.
* Address any guest concerns promptly, attentively and efficiently.
* Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually seeking improvement.
More about you...
* Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
* Previous experience within a fine dining restaurant and familiarity with Italian cuisine is strongly recommended.
* Exceptional attention to detail and drive to maintain high standards.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Full understanding of financial aspects, budgeting and profit and loss.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs.
* Proven experience in managing, coaching, challenging and developing teams.
* Approachable and positive manner with a “can do” attitude.
* Ability to use initiative in challenging situations and under pressure.
* A smart and professional appearance.
* Proven track record in a similar position within a 5-star hotel.
* Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken.
* Experience of working with brand standards.
