Job responsibilities
Main role and purpose of the post
The PA to the senior management team will:
* Assist with the smooth running of the management team.
* Provide a discrete and confidential service.
* Carry out tasks on behalf of the senior managers.
* Liaise with staff or external agencies as required.
Main responsibilities
* Work closely with the Senior Management Team, providing support to various activities as necessary.
* Produce letters, documents, and spreadsheets to a high standard of accuracy.
* Manage the senior management email account, prioritizing messages and setting appropriate deadlines.
* Provide diary management to the senior managers.
* Distribute information to the practice team as needed.
* Collect and present information in an appropriate format by given deadlines.
* Develop and maintain an accurate, robust, and current electronic filing system.
* Organize meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing papers, and inviting attendees. Take notes and prepare/distribute minutes.
* Assist in planning practice events, including content preparation and venue booking.
* The PA will work from all three sites as required.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Basic education.
* English Language GCSE at grade C or above or equivalent.
* ECDL or other IT qualification.
Experience
* Excellent keyboard skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office.
* Experience managing email accounts and diaries.
* Excellent spelling and grammar.
* Understanding of organizing meetings.
* Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
* Discreet and able to handle confidential information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* Ability to prioritize workload and work autonomously to meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail.
* Experience as a PA.
* Experience with SystmOne.
* Experience working in a health setting.
