The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking an experienced and driven Curriculum Leader - Maths to lead and inspire within our dynamic Maths department. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide curriculum innovation, support staff development, and make a real impact on learners' success in a thriving academic environment.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Curriculum Leader - Maths, you will take the lead in both the academic and operational management of Maths programmes. Your core responsibilities will involve:
* Leading and supporting teaching staff within the Maths curriculum, including day-to-day supervision, staff development, and performance monitoring.
* Overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of Maths programmes, ensuring high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment.
* Driving curriculum development aligned with College strategy and sector standards, and ensuring compliance with course regulations and quality requirements.
* Monitoring learner progress and using College systems (e.g., Moodle, e-Tracker) to support student success, achievement, and progression.
* Promoting effective team communication, collaboration, and sharing of best practice through meetings, observations, and mentoring.
