The company\nA multi-award-winning manufacturer of consumable goods who have been operating for over 60 years and supplying bespoke equipment internationally across 70 countries. The business is family owned and utilises the latest technology and innovative manufacturing systems with an extensive customer portfolio across the UK. On the back of its success and growth, they are now seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join the Team.\n\nThe role\nWith over 700 distributors UK Wide, A Customer Service Coordinator is now required to join the team on a permanent basis at their Birmingham facility.\n\nYou will take responsibility for:\n\n * Providing premium customer service, answering calls and responding to customer enquiries\n\n * Whilst coordinating alongside the service team, being responsible to book service, repairs and arrange installation dates.\n\n * Liaising with the sales team to ensure all necessary customer documentation and checklists are completed.\n\n * Maintaining effective communication channels between customers, service team and sales team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.\n\n * Managing administrative tasks, maintaining service records, generating reports and updating customer databases.\n\nWhat you need\nIt is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:\n\n * Previous experience of working in a customer service/ planning/ coordinating or similar role, ideally within engineering/manufacturing.\n\n * Ideally has previous experience dealing directly with engineering/service teams.\n\n * Capable of handling high-demand workloads\n\n * Must be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft office and proficient with customer relationship management (CRM) software.\n\n * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)\n\n * Must have good organisational and time-management skills\n\nOther DESIRABLE skills include:\n\n * Experience of working in a demanding customer service role within the engineering/manufacturing industry would be highly advantageous.\n\n * Our client Sage software platform for customer management – any prior experience would be desirable.\n\nWhat is on offer?\nOn offer is the chance to join one of the brand leaders with a flair for innovation, our trailblazing success sees them export their machines to over 70 countries across five continents.
