About The Role
Outwood Academy Acklam requires an Attendance Assistant to provide administrative support to promote whole-school attendance strategies to fulfil our responsibility for the improvement and sustainability of attendance in our academy. Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to the academy’s students and their parents/carers in a positive and proactive way is crucial.
To be successful in this rewarding role, you will need to be extremely well-organised and have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. The ability to work on your own initiative and work within existing teams is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to remain calm in a busy environment whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Strong IT skills and practical experience of using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, are essential for this role. Experience within a school attendance role is advantageous but not essential.
