Purchasing and Fleet Administrator Hook Norton Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £ 27,000 per annum Hours: 40 per week Our head offices based in the beautiful village of Hook Norton near Banbury. Here you will find our teams of finance, HR, purchasing, marketing & creative that support all of our locations across the Thomas Franks family. There is ample parking space available when visiting. We will be looking to hold first stage interviews in the new year. As the Purchasing & Fleet Administrator for Thomas Franks, you will be a key member of the purchasing team and provide admin support for Thomas Franks fleet. You will be responsible for administering the supplier database and supporting the team with data analysis, onboarding new suppliers and approving supplier catalogues. You will be responsible for maintaining the fleet database and managing the inbox. We are able to offer this role as an apprenticeship to study and achieve a CIPS qualification whereby you will be expected to complete your study within and alongside your day to day duties. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with other members of our operational teams and external partners, you will be involved in: Administrating the process to set up suppliers and new accounts, ensuring all relevant parties notified in a timely manner. Updating the Supplier bible. Tracking supplier accreditations and certifications expiry dates. Approving supplier catalogues. Supporting the team in data analysis. Point of contact for the Purchasing and Fleet inbox to ensure internal and external queries are dealt with or forwarded in a timely manner. Attending internal and external minutes and taking minutes and following up with attendees on their actions. Updating the supplier comments log. Maintaining the fleet database, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Manage the process for ordering ETI probes. To carry out any other tasks as reasonably requested from time to time. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self-motivated. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills. Computer literate. Must be a proficient user of Microsoft suite of packages including Excel, Word, Outlook. Ability to set up Teams calls. Must be able to multi-task - this can be a varied role. Must have an excellent eye for detail. A driver’s licence and willing to travel around the country at times and occasionally be away from home.
