About the Role: As a BSL Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting deaf pupils to access the curriculum and thrive both academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include: Using British Sign Language to facilitate communication between pupils, staff, and peers. Supporting students in small group and 1:1 settings, adapting learning materials to meet individual needs. Promoting independence and self-confidence in deaf learners. Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons alongside class teachers. Encouraging a positive and inclusive classroom environment. What We're Looking For: A recognised qualification in British Sign Language (minimum Level 2, Level 3+ preferred).
