Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environments are tidy, safe, and welcoming for residents of communal blocks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations as required, a company vehicle is provided, working in a team of 2.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
* Maintain cleanliness of communal areas including bin stores
* Ensure waste disposal is carried out efficiently and responsibly
* Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand specific cleaning requirements
Experience
* Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
* Good communication skills in English are essential for clear interaction with team members and clients
* Customer service experience is a plus, especially when dealing directly with clients or visitors
* Valid driving licence is desirable to support travel between multiple sites if necessary
