Role Overview The Welfare Officer will support student wellbeing, attendance, and safeguarding processes. Key responsibilities include: Supporting students with pastoral concerns Managing minor medical issues and first aid Liaising with parents regarding welfare matters Supporting attendance monitoring Assisting with safeguarding referrals Supporting vulnerable and at-risk students Working closely with Heads of Year Recording welfare concerns accurately Supporting reintegration meetings Liaising with external agencies This role requires strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience. Pastoral & Safeguarding Team The Welfare Officer works closely with the Safeguarding Lead, Attendance Officer, and pastoral leaders.
