We are looking for an experienced Logistics Shift Supervisor who will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams within the Warehouse and Logistics operation of the plant.
Safety leadership, people management skills combined with customer focused approach are essential and valued more than technical knowledge in this role. Shifts are 4 on, 4 off - Days, Days, Nights, Nights.

In the UK, Guardian is continually looking for talented individuals to help them continue their growth and presence in the regional market. All UK manufacturing is based from the plant in Goole, East Yorkshire which has recently made significant investment in a new furnace which uses advanced technology and will secure glass manufacture at the site for the next 20 years. The plant can produce some of the most advanced and innovative energy saving architectural glass on the market today. The plant is a lower tier COMAH site which operates a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
•Connect yourself and your team to company safety vision, ensure that all tasks are completed according to company safety standards, promote the proactive safety behaviours, and strive for safety excellence in your area of responsibility.
•Have a clear understanding of the quality vision, standards and customer’s needs and continually encourage customer focused culture within the team.
•Learn, internalise and practice company culture to create right environment for people to work and succeed in their roles.
•Build the high-performing team by understanding your direct reports individual capabilities and utilise them to maximise the value creation for the team as whole. Work with the team to create personalised development plans, deliver meaningful coaching and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.
•Drive the plant and business transformation plans by challenging the status quo and eliminating waste from current operations.
•Oversee the warehouse operations, cooperating with the shipping team, sales team and production teams to ensure an uninterrupted customer service and manufacturing operation.
