Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
11. Producing detailed designs for highways and drainage, across commercial, industrial, and residential developments
12. Overseeing a range of infrastructure projects for a variety of public and private clients
13. Preparing and checking technical documents with reference to the relevant Section Agreements for highways and drainage (including S38, S278, and S104)
14. Using relevant software systems to produce designs, namely AutoCAD, Civils3D, Causeway PDS, and MicroDrainage
15. Managing client and customer relationships at all project stages, from initial inception through to successful delivery and implementation
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
16. A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
17. Extensive experience within a design-based role, in a UK consultancy/Local Authority setting
18. Possess Chartered Status, recognised by a relevant Professional Body
19. Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Civils3D, Causeway PDS, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
20. Highly-proficient in the application of the relevant Section Agreements (namely, S104, S278, and S38)
21. Experience of leading both people and projects
22. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
23. Demonstrable experience of liaising closely with a diverse range of clientele, including building and maintaining strong working relationships
24. Possess a full, valid UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
25. A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
26. Proficiency with Site3D
