Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software, including SolidWorks and MATLAB.
* Create and analyse schematics for complex mechanical systems.
* Conduct system design and integration of logic controllers within projects.
* Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues effectively.
* Utilise Simulink for modelling and simulating dynamic systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, tests, and modifications.
* Conduct tests on prototypes and existing products to validate performance against specifications.
* Provide technical support during the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are upheld.
Requirements
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential.
* Proficiency in CAD software; experience with SolidWorks is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with LabView for data acquisition and instrument control is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge, including materials science and thermodynamics.
* Experience with system design, particularly involving logic controllers, is preferred.
* Ability to perform root cause analysis effectively to identify issues within mechanical systems.
* Knowledge of Simulink for system modelling is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
