The Role
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member of an Agile Sprint team, helping to deliver high-quality digital products across Superdry’s eCommerce ecosystem. Your main focus will be Salesforce Commerce Cloud front-end delivery, creating scalable and engaging customer experiences. You will also contribute to backend services and internal tools, including our bespoke Product Information Management (PIM) system built with Angular/JHipster, and work with AWS serverless services as part of our wider digital estate.
You will work closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to help deliver seamless customer journeys, gaining exposure to a range of modern technologies and practices.
You Will
1. Contribute to front-end experiences on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) with a focus on UX, accessibility, and performance.
2. Support the configuration and use of Business Manager, enabling business teams to customise and optimise content.
3. Work alongside product and design teams to help deliver engaging, personalised shopping experiences.
4. Assist in running A/B tests and data-driven enhancements.
5. Contribute to internal tools, including the bespoke PIM (Angular/JHipster).
6. Write unit-tested, maintainable code and participate in peer reviews.
7. Collaborate with your team to ensure features are delivered efficiently, with quality and consistency.
8. Learn and apply best practices in SEO, accessibility, and performance optimisation.
9. Support the technical direction set by the Engineering Tech Steering group.
You Are
10. Experienced with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), particularly in front-end delivery and Business Manager administration.
11. Able to work with business stakeholders to support configurable and personalised customer experiences.
12. Familiar with A/B testing and using data to improve UX and conversion.
13. Knowledgeable in modern web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
14. Comfortable writing testable, well-structured code and eager to learn best practices.
15. Able to collaborate effectively in Agile teams, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
16. Familiar with AWS cloud services and open to developing skills in serverless patterns.
17. Motivated by continuous learning, teamwork, and delivering great digital experiences for customers.
