Oracle EBS DBA – Contract Opportunity
Location: Hybrid working in Havant or Reading
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Initially until March 2026
Rate: £460 per day inside IR35
Our client is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS DBA to join their team supporting a major migration project from on-premise Oracle EBS to Oracle HCM Cloud. This role combines BAU support (approx. 60%) with project work (40%), ensuring our EBS environments remain stable while contributing to a high-profile cloud transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and support Oracle EBS environments (cloning, patching, performance tuning).
* Assist with migration activities to Oracle HCM Cloud.
* Review and validate code against standards.
* Support integrations with OCI and OIC.
* Participate in compliance, DR, and patch management activities.
Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.2 administration.
* Solid background in Oracle Database (19c) and Unix/Linux environments.
* Exposure to Oracle Cloud technologies (OCI, OIC) highly desirable.
* Ability to work flexibly and manage both BAU and project tasks.
