Key Responsibilities of the Road Freight Coordinator - European Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, overseas partners and carriers, acting as the main point of contact to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution. Deliver exceptional customer service, proactively addressing queries, providing solutions, and identifying opportunities to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction. Manage and coordinate international shipments from customers to their final delivery destinations, ensuring seamless end to end logistics. Prepare and collate essential documentation for import and export declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customs regulations. Input and manage customs data, facilitating smooth customs clearance and timely delivery of goods across borders. Oversee all carrier interactions, ensuring accurate completion of required paperwork, timely updates to carrier systems and adherence to shipping schedules. Contribute to process improvement, supporting the team in refining logistics workflows, enhancing efficiency and ensuring a reliable, high quality service for clients. Skills / Experience required for the role: Experience of either UK or European road freight would be ideal. Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or a related field is highly desirable. Self motivated with excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service. Proven problem solving abilities with a proactive, can do attitude and strong attention to detail.
