Our client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking a Children's Advanced Practitioner to join their Family Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Lead and manage complex children’s safeguarding and child protection cases
* Provide expert risk assessment, analysis, and case direction
* Support and mentor Children’s Social Workers through reflective supervision
* Work closely with multi-disciplinary partners to address parental risks
* Chair and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, and child protection conferences
* Quality-assure children’s assessments, plans, and statutory interventions
* Support effective pre-proceedings and court work for children
* Model strengths-based, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice
* Ensure practice complies with children’s legislation, guidance, and local procedures
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
* Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
