Clerical and receptionist work could include some or all of the following: communicate with patients, clinicians and external organisations both face-to-face and via the telephone.
Key responsibilities
- Make appointment bookings and respond to a variety of enquires
- Process prescriptions
- Open and sort post and take deliveries
- Scan/copy or file documents/patient notes
- Receive payments from patients
- Act as a central point of communication, taking messages and carrying out actions as required
- Offer general support to colleagues/clinicians/patients, as required
