A fantastic opportunity has recently become available for a SEND Teaching Assistant in a primary school in Halifax for a September start. The school are looking for someone to work with pupils with Autism in a Year 1 class. The role as a SEND TA: To support students who struggle with their class work Facilitate a fun and friendly learning environment To provide support to the class teacher To encourage children to do their best Help manage behaviour Build good realtionships with the children in your careThe successful SEND TA will: Be calm and compassionate. Personality is everything! Be able to take initiative well and problem solve Have some experience working with children - desirable but not essential Be patient.
