About the Role:
We are seeking Principal Medical Writers (PMW) to join a fast-growing, creatively driven medcomms agency working at the intersection of scientific accuracy, strategy, and storytelling.
Opportunities are available across both Commercial/Advertising and Medical Education focuses, supporting a mix of UK and global pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
You will work on a wide range of deliverables—from promotional campaigns and brand strategy to scientific narratives and large-scale medical education programmes—collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop high-quality promotional and/or scientific medical content
* Create materials such as visual aids, messaging documents, campaigns, and scientific narratives
* Translate complex data into clear, engaging, and accurate messaging
* Contribute to brand positioning, strategy development, and workshops
* Support medical education programmes, advisory boards, and stakeholder engagement
* Collaborate with creative, strategy, and account teams in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience within a healthcare advertising or medical communications agency (essential)
* Strong background in either medical copywriting/promotional content or medical education
* Experience working across therapy areas such as oncology, rare diseases, neurology, or immunology (preferred)
* Confident in client-facing situations
* PhD preferred; MSc considered with strong experience (BSc only if exceptional)
