We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly practice nurse to join our growing team. You must have recent relevant experience as a practice nurse and be competent in diabetic reviews, including injectable medication commencement. This is on a bank contract, to meet the needs of the practice, on an adhoc basis. Flexible as to days and hours.
Main duties of the job
Carry out annual diabetes reviews
Follow up appointments with patients
Liaising with secondary care team, GPs, administrators
Oversight of recalls, QOF and waiting lists

Chronic disease reviews - specifically Diabetes
Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by the GPs or other Clinicians
Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness of nurses and treatment rooms
Participation in administrative systems in the Practice
At all times there will be a need to maintain accurate records
* A duty to advise senior nurses of potential problems or errors within the range of assigned tasks
Any other delegated duties appropriate to the post
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse - adult
* Qualified in Phlebotomy
* Chronic disease management - Asthma, COPD
