As New Adviser Relationship Manager at Schroders Personal Wealth, you'll play a key role in inspiring and developing a team of Existing Relationship Advisers to deliver exceptional service to our established client base. You will motivate them to reach their full potential, building business through family generations and referrals. The role will be focused on managing a smaller team of advisers, who may be new to role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of our adviser community, helping them build lasting relationships with clients and their families, and supporting them as they grow into high-performing professionals.

At SPW, we're committed to changing lives—not just for our clients, but for our colleagues too. You'll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team, where your development is supported and your leadership makes a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of advisers—many of whom may be new to role—providing coaching, development, and motivation to help them reach their full potential.
* Ensuring advisers are supported to deliver timely, high-quality ongoing advice reviews (OARs) and to meet key performance indicators.
* Collaborate with Advice Quality Managers to foster a culture of learning, coaching excellence, and continuous improvement.
* Use business tools and performance data to identify training needs and shape development plans in partnership with the Training Team and Regional Managers.
* Drive productivity and performance through strong coaching, feedback, and performance management.
* Contribute to the development of future adviser capability, supporting the long-term success of the Financial Planning team.
* Share best practice with key stakeholders and Regional Managers and champion the "One SPW Way" of working.
* Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure advisers deliver outstanding client experiences.
* Act as an ambassador for SPW, both internally and externally.
* Support the delivery of the Financial Planning P&L through effective team management and client engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

* Proven experience in coaching and developing individuals, ideally within a financial services or advice environment.
* Strong understanding of the end-to-end financial advice process.
* Ability to inspire and motivate others, creating a culture where colleagues can learn, grow, and thrive.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, motivational direction and manage challenging conversations with empathy and clarity.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple adviser needs and priorities simultaneously.
* Confident using data and business tools to analyse performance and drive improvement.
* Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills; being able to identify problems and engaging with colleagues to create a solution.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Professional Certification is not required, however QCF Level 4 / Chartered Level 6 can be maintained through this role.

We understand not everyone will meet 100% of the requirements, however we encourage you to apply if you think your skills are a good fit for this role.

This job vacancy may close earlier than the advertised date if a suitable candidate is found. We encourage interested applicants to submit their applications as soon as possible.

Some fantastic benefits SPW colleagues enjoy:

* Generous Holiday Entitlement: 30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell 5 days.
* Health & Wellbeing: Company-paid Private Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, and Health Screening.
* Company Pension Contribution: A matched pension contribution of up to 15% of your base pay.
* Cash Allowance: Flexible allowance to spend on additional benefits personal to you, including: dental cover, paid sabbatical leave, gym membership, menopause support.
* Bonus Opportunity: Dependent on individual/company performance (eligible after 3 months' service)
